Tracking GreenHouse Gases (GHG) and Carbon Emission or UMT
Gases that trap heat in the atmosphere are called greenhouse gases. Carbon dioxide (CO2) is the primary greenhouse gas emitted through human activities. In realizing UMT’s target to be a carbon-neutral campus by 2030 and net-zero campus by 2050 as inspired in UMT Blue Print 2030, we track our performance in terms of CO2 emissions annually, with 2023 as our baseline year.
