Driven by the spirit of community care, 22 students from the accounting programme had organized a cleaning activity at Masjid Tok Jembal, Kuala Nerus, on 16 April 2026. The initiative aimed not only to maintain the cleanliness and comfort of the mosque environment, but also to instill values of teamwork, responsibility, and community care in locals and the mosque congregation.
The programme started as early as 8.30am in the morning, whereby the students worked together to clean the walkway, prayer hall, mosque compound, ablution areas, and reorganize facilities for the convenience of worshipper. The programme lasted after 4 hours with distribution of food to mosque congregation after Zuhur prayer. Positive feedback received from the mosque management, who appreciated the students’ effort and willingness to contribute to the community.
Beyond the cleaning activities, the programme served as a meaningful platform for students to engage with the local community and strengthen the spirit of unity. This initiative reflect the important role of teamwork and youth spirit in community development and social responsibility. Similar kind of programme should be continued in the future to foster stronger relationships between university students and society while nurturing socially responsible behaviour.
Dengan semangat keprihatinan terhadap kebersihan rumah ibadah, seramai 22 pelajar dari program perakaunan telah menjayakan Program Gotong-Royong Pembersihan di Masjid Tok Jembal, Kuala Nerus pada 16 April 2026. Program ini bukan sahaja bertujuan memastikan persekitaran masjid kekal bersih dan selesa, malah turut memupuk nilai kerjasama, bertanggungjawab dan prihatin terhadap komuniti beserta jemaah masjid.
Program bermula seawal 8.30 pagi, di mana para pelajar berganding bahu membersihkan laluan masjid, ruang solat, perkarangan masjid, tempat wuduk serta menyusun semula kemudahan yang disediakan untuk jemaah. Selepas 4 jam aktiviti pembersihan, program diakhiri dengan pengagihan makanan kepada jemaah Masjid selepas solat Zuhur. Aktiviti ini mendapat sambutan positif daripada pihak masjid yang menghargai usaha pelajar dan kesanggupan menyumbang kepada komuniti.
Selain dari aktiviti pembersihan, program ini memberi peluang kepada pelajar untuk mendekati komuniti sambil menerapkan semangat perpaduan. Inisiatif ini menggambarkan kepentingan kerja berpasukan dan semangat belia dalam pembangunan komuniti serta tanggungjawab sosial. Diharap program sebegini dapat diteruskan pada masa hadapan bagi memperkukuh hubungan antara pelajar universiti dan masyarakat setempat serta melahirkan generasi mahasiswa yang aktif menyumbang kepada komuniti.
