The Work-Based Learning (WBL) Workshop for the Bachelor of Renewable Energy Technology with Honours (SMTTBD) programme was successfully held on 22 April 2026. The workshop aimed to discuss the planning and follow-up actions that need to be implemented by the SMTTBD WBL Task Force members to ensure the successful execution of the WBL programme.
The workshop involved advisors and members of the SMTTBD WBL Task Force, industry representatives, and representatives from the Nanophysics Programme (2u2i Programme). Exhibitions and demonstrations of renewable energy-related projects were also conducted throughout the workshop, presented by SMTTBD students.
Highest appreciation is extended for the knowledge-sharing and experience-sharing session regarding the implementation of WBL in the Nanophysics Programme by Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Nor Hazmin Binti Sabri and Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Mohd Sabri Bin Mohd Ghazali. Special thanks are also extended to Ts. Muhamad Nazrin Ab Sota from ABS Kepas Company (Solar PV Installer) for taking the time to share valuable industry insights and experiences in strengthening the implementation of WBL, while also broadening the perspective of collaboration between the university and industry.
Appreciation is also extended to the SMTTBD WBL Advisors, Professor Emeritus Ir. Dr. Ahmad Bin Jusoh, Professor Dr. Che Mohd Ruzaidi bin Ghazali, and Professor Ts. Dr. Nora’Aini binti Haji Ali for their assistance in planning and guiding the direction of the SMTTBD WBL implementation.
It is hoped that this workshop will serve as a catalyst for more structured planning and inspire all parties involved in ensuring the successful implementation of the SMTTBD WBL Programme.
Bengkel Work-Based Learning (WBL) bagi program Sarjana Muda Teknologi Tenaga Boleh Diperbaharui dengan Kepujian (SMTTBD) telah berjaya dilaksanakan pada 22 April 2026. Bengkel ini bertujuan membincangkan perancangan serta tindakan susulan yang perlu dilaksanakan oleh ahli Task Force WBL SMTTBD dalam memastikan kejayaan pelaksanaan program WBL.
Bengkel ini melibatkan penasihat dan ahli Task Force WBL SMTTBD, wakil industri, wakil Program Nanofizik (Program 2u2i). Pameran dan demo projek-projek berkaitan tenaga boleh diperbaharui turut dilaksanakan sepanjang bengkel ini berlangsung yang diwakili oleh para pelajar SMTTBD.
Setinggi-tinggi penghargaan dirakamkan atas sesi perkongsian ilmu dan pengalaman berkaitan pelaksanaan WBL dalam Program Nanofizik oleh Profesor Madya Ts. Dr. Nor Hazmin Binti Sabri dan Profesor Madya Ts. Dr. Mohd Sabri Bin Mohd Ghazali. Ucapan terima kasih yang tidak terhingga juga ditujukan kepada Ts. Muhamad Nazrin Ab Sota dari ABS Kepas Company (Solar PV Installer) yang sudi meluangkan masa untuk berkongsi pandangan dan pengalaman industri yang bernilai dalam memperkukuh pelaksanaan WBL, di samping memperluas perspektif kerjasama antara universiti dan pihak industri.
